Thank you for the voucher, can I say the 3 bird roast was a great success at our christmas table. A success for me as cook as it seemed to be less bother to cook than a Turkey, a success for the eaters, pheasant was new to some eaters and they loved it. The whole thing was delicious, your courier delivered it as promised - never gave me the chance to worry "will it come or not". You will have my business again.

I'd just like to say a rather belated 'thank you' for the fantastic three bird roast and sirloin my family had from you for Christmas. I've been reminded to get in touch with you, having been to a 'networking' event today at the Hadley Park Hotel at which Charlotte was speaking. Charlotte - it was lovely to have a quick word with you after the lunch and your talk really provoked a very positive reaction from everyone on my table.

I just wanted to say a big thank-you to all at Ford Hall farm for my meat boxes which I have been recieving via Wilkesley Veg Hampers over the last few months. My daughter and I particularly enjoyed coming to the farm in November and following the little nature walk. I think it's so nice to be able to see where our food comes from. I especially want to thank you for delivering a Ford Hall Gammon at Christmas when the website showed them as out of stock. It was delicious, as was the great piece of topside I received.

Just wanted to say that we had our 3 bird roast for New Year and it was fantastic. Succulent and tasty and a thoroughly enjoyable experience. As for your service, this has also been very good. We had the updates and the cooking instructions. My only complaint would be that you sent us a mail saying that Parcelforce would contact us with the tracking details - they did not. The packaging was fab and we will send it back to you and we will no doubt order again.

Dear Ben (I think),
I'd just like to say thank you for the 3 bird roast. It looks amazing as do the other items. It arrived at Perth depot just before 1pm today but it wasn't going to be delivered until tomorrow, if lucky. However, a mannie, who works with parcel Force, popped it in to me on his way home from work as he was passing my home. Perth is a good half to three quarter hour drive from me. I appreciated the gesture. Praise of Fordhall Farm along with that of Parcel Force are pasted onto my Facebook.

This morning I received my meat delivery and am absolutely delighted with it. This evening for dinner my children and I ate the pork sausages and we all said that these were the best sausages we have ever eaten they would now like them every night and I agree - my children are connoisseurs of sausages and I have never liked them!

Just wanted to let you know that I would normally have returned the insulation in the delivery box for recycling - but we were so impressed with it ( the ice block was still frozen solid) that we are going to keep it this time to use when we go to Scotland in April - we usually pre cook some meals to take with us. Oh and congratulations on passing your final Soil A ssociation inspection - I know how harrowing they can be - we have friends with an organic farm near to us in Warwickshire

A great many projects that are good in principle fall over because the organisers aren't really capable of sustaining them - that clearly doesn't apply to Fordhall, which shows ever sign of being able to maintain and develop itself successfully.
Meat looks fantastic - your packing and presentation tick all the right boxes too.
Full marks. You match up to the highest standards in every respect, which is what we know you aim to do.

Dear Ben, Charlotte and Sophie,
I wish I had written this as soon as I had finished the book, there was so much I wanted to say, which of course there was no way I was going to forget!!! and here I am trying to find some words. Excuse me therefore while I fumble my way through this.
I had been vegetarian for over 22 yrs, been eating all organic food for 8 and it was imperative to me that if he/we were going to eat meat it had to be done properly. The animals had to have lived a good life, a life being fed their natural diet and not stuffed full of grains, antibiotics and hormones.
We used to buy meat from a major super market, their organic lamb and beef, and I cannot tell you how I loathe to do that now if I have run out. The look of it is so artificial in comparison, the colour bright red, the smell, and of course the scale of the farming, all horribly wrong. The difference between your meat and other organic meat is fundamental (for want of a better word!). It wasn't important to me that it had organic certification. The ethos of the farm is what counts in the end and your farm beats all others hands down in this regard. It is a joy to me when my order comes to the door, it is always well packed, looks and smells superb, the meat is a good cold temperature, all I need to do is put it all in the freezer. It is also extremely good value, that bright red 'organic' meat from the big supermarket is still more expensive than Fordhall Farm and the difference in quality is incomparable. I don't even have to leave the house. The delivery charge is covered ten times over when I think how much petrol I use to get to the supermarket. I can't tell you how wonderful it is to feel in some very, very small way to be part of what you have achieved, which is nothing short of a miracle. I think you are absolutely incredible people, what you are doing and have done is so profoundly important and I hope you are reminded of that fact by others all the time.

We have bought our meat in bulk and through the post for several years. We have used Sheepdrove, Riverford, Chatsworth and Fordhall. The quality is excellent from them all but the quality of the meat we get from Fordhall is consistently top quality. When we have guests we can guarantee that if we take a Fordhall joint from the fridge or freezer then the meal is going to be excellent.
We have bought 4 meat boxes from Ben and when there is room in the freezer we will be ordering more.

I meant to e-mail before to say thank you for cutting and boning me a leg of pork to cure. It arrived safely and made a delicious ham which has been much enjoyed and appreciated by family and friends over Christmas. Both our sons also expressed an interest in buying shares in Fordhall when we explained where the pork had come from - so I hope you will benefit from that!
